Quarter II, Week 8: ScreenCasts, SmartNotes and Code, oh my!

Welcome back! We just got back from break on the Tuesday after New Year's Day and its as if we never left! Talk about a short work week: here it is Friday and I'm already out sick again. I've never been sick with a cold so many times in one semester before.

AP Calculus BC spent the week on the concept of work and how to calculate it.
BC Calc 701 You are now Pharaoh's Architect

preCalculus for Seniors focused on review concepts from the last quiz for a requiz today! We also started talking about vectors in 2 and 3 dimensions.

preCalc 904 Vectors

AP Computer Science started CH7/EX6 on loops. Soon we will start talking about static arrays and the ArrayList class. Then its time for my own Case Study: Chess960!

Calculus Research Lab started CH5 on applications of the derivative but didn't get to do anything on the SAGE server as yet.

Computer Math started CH6 on boolean operators and conditional statements. In fact, the CLEMIX.CLEMSON.EDU server went down, so we did our program the old fashioned way! Note, the CLEMIX.CLEMSON.EDU server was moved and renamed: SAGE.MATH.CLEMSON.EDU Thanx you, Clemson U!

CM 6.2 Logic and Truth Tables

HTH and I hope you enjoyed this week's notes!
